Mixed signals ahead in data

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — One of the busiest weeks of the year for economic data will probably be one of the most confusing as well. The flood of data in the coming week will probably point to weaker growth in the first quarter, stronger hiring and manufacturing output in May, as well as more bad news on home prices.
