United Technologies hikes quarterly dividend 21% to 32 cents

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — United Technologies Corp. said late Wednesday it is raising its quarterly dividend 21% to 32 cents a share. The dividend is payable Sept. 10 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 17. Spartech quarterly profit rises 13%; backs fiscal 2007 view

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Spartech Corp. late Wednesday reported second-quarter net earnings of $15.7 million, or 49 cents a share, up 13% from $13.9 million, or 42 cents a share, during the year-ago period. The engineering firm posted revenue of $377.4 million vs. $389.3 million. Additionally, Spartech said it still expects fiscal 2007 per-share earnings of $1.55 to $1.62 a share, before the impact of special items. Capstone Turbine’s quarterly loss narrows

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Capstone Turbine Corp. late Wednesday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter net loss of $8.5 million, or 6 cents a share, versus a net loss of $11.8 million, or 12 cents a share, in the year-ago period.
