MTC Saudi Arabia $1.5bn IPO

MTC Saudi Arabia will attempt to raise $1.5bn through an initial public offering after the Islamic month of Ramadan, Arab News reported. Ramadan is set to end in mid-October this year. The float of 560m shares represents 40% of the company’s capital. The consortium is also raising $3.7bn in an Islamic loan. MTC Saudi Arabia won the kingdom’s third mobile licence with a bid of $6.11bn.
