Foreigners buy $290.3m on DFM

The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has revealed that the value of shares and bonds bought by foreign investors last week reached $290.3m comprising 24.8% of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached $263.6m representing 22.5% of the total value. Net foreign investment on the market therefore totalled $26.7m last week.

DFSA in Greek agreement

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has signed an agreement with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC). The HCMC is Greece's self-funded independent authority responsible for setting the general conditions of capital market organisation and operation. The bilateral deal has been signed with a view to more Greek firms seeking to join the Dubai International Financial Centre.
